Celebrate Black artistry and storytelling at the opening reception of our Juneteenth Exhibit, thoughtfully curated by Charlotte Art League member artist JAM. This powerful collection showcases work from local Black artists exploring themes of freedom, identity, and cultural resilience.

Artist Talk & Curator Insights
Enjoy refreshments while hearing directly from JAM about their curation process and what guided the selection process. Featured artists will also share their inspiration and creative journeys.

About JAM:
JAM is a surreal-pop model and muralist based in the Charlotte area. His vibrant, thought-provoking work can be found throughout the city, blending surrealism with popular culture and social commentary. JAM is an active member of the Charlotte Art League, where he maintains a studio, displays his artwork in the gallery, and serves on the Marketing Committee.
